Buddy - In Memoriam

Buddy, his eyes closed, sitting in his characteristic first position.

Buddy was found unable to move his back legs and unwell under our neighbour's porch.

Neighbours were able to rush him to the vet on Wednesday morning but, sadly, he had multiple organ failure and, surrounded by a lot of love and care, crossed the rainbow bridge.

Buddy will be remembered as a sweet, shy fellow who liked to nap on sunny spots, play with catnip, and have a nice meal of wet food every morning. He was recognizable by his sad eyes and distinctive "ballerina" front paws. Thank you for visiting us regularly, Buddy. You will be missed!

Buddy spotted

After many rainy days, our friend Buddy was spotted enjoying the sunshine and being a good boy.

Unidentified tomcat

A shy, gray tuxedo tomcat was spotted last week on the east side. He didn't want to talk and was hungry. This dude needs to be TNR'd or we're going to have more kittens very soon.

Birchley Park is no more

According to a Facebook post, Birchley Park is not moving forward with the condos. We have some information that the park, school and affordable housing are still happening, though. The asking price for the 500sqft units was way too high for a condo market that is about to crash so.
